Mission
At Boston Prep, our mission is to prepare students to succeed in four-year colleges and to embody, in thought and action, lifelong ethical growth.
Who We Are
Almost all of the students currently enrolled in our school identify as a non-white, ethnic minority, accurately representing the diversity found in the neighborhoods surrounding our campus. The vast majority of our students come from the neighborhoods of Dorchester, Mattapan, Roxbury, and Hyde Park, with a smaller number of students traveling from various other neighborhoods in Boston.
The Portrait of a Boston Prep Graduate
Boston Prep’s Portrait of a Graduate articulates the skills, habits, and knowledge our community aims for all graduates to possess in order to facilitate a life of opportunity and choice.
Commitment to Anti-Racism
Together, we are working to be an anti-racist school - a school that fosters a sense of belonging, affirms the whole child, holds high expectations, and delivers exceptional instruction. Every decision we make, every action we take, is rooted in our commitment to root out inequality, dismantle systems of suppression, and pursue liberation and equity for all.
